Current Renovations

605-609 G Avenue, Former True Value Hardware Building

Dave Loftus has undertaken a huge project on both the main and upper levels of this building. The main floor has been gutted and "white boxed" to allow for flexibility in design for the next tenant(s) who occupy the space. The apartments upstairs will also be renovated. Two new retail tenants have already signed on - one is Shabby Shack (now open) and the other is Trends Center (scheduled to open in June 2018).

This historic building is undergoing complete renovation in the upper and lower levels.  Building owners John and Joan Schuller gutted the upper floor, exposed original brick walls and tin ceilings, and created a luxurious Air BNB.  The lower level is the new home of 319 Decor & Design, a local interior design firm and home decor retail store.  Katie McMartin, owner of 319 Decor & Design was nominated for a Main Street Iowa Award for "Superior Interior Renovation" in 2018.
